It’s a big early win for offensive line coach Matt Luke and offensive coordinator Chad Morris as well as of course head coach Dabo Swinney. Jones measures up at 6-6, 209 pounds, and is a four-star prospect out of Poquoson, Va. He is committed to join Clemson before the 2027 season, when the O-line room will be full of Matt Luke recruits. Longtime sports journalists Daniel Shirley and Bill Zimmerman have analysis of Jones’ game, his importance in the program, the impact he can have on this recruiting class for Swinney, and much more. #clemsonrecruiting #clemsonfootball #daboswinney #footballrecruiting #CarterJones We're glad you found us -- y'all be sure to watch on [YouTube.com/ClemsonKickoff](http://youtube.com/clemsonkickoff) so you can share your reactions in the comments, and find us on social media @ClemsonKickoff! ![2026 schedule horizontal-1](https://clemsonkickoff.com/hs-fs/hubfs/2026%20schedule%20horizontal-1.png?width=960&height=282&name=2026%20schedule%20horizontal-1.png)   [Reign Supreme Alway podcast](https://clemsonkickoff.com/news/tag/reign-supreme-alway-podcast) ## More Clemson Tigers Analysis [![Tight end Carter Blackwell against a decorative backdrop](https://clemsonkickoff.com/hs-fs/hubfs/carter-blackwell-clemson-recruiting-THUMB-Commit-preview.png?height=200&name=carter-blackwell-clemson-recruiting-THUMB-Commit-preview.png)](https://clemsonkickoff.com/news/carter-blackwell-commits-to-clemson-recruiting-class-of-2027-analysis) ## [Carter Blackwell Commits to Clemson: Recruiting Class of 2027 Analysis](https://clemsonkickoff.com/news/carter-blackwell-commits-to-clemson-recruiting-class-of-2027-analysis) May 29, 2026 | 8:38 PM All right college sports fans (and especially those who love Clemson), tight end Carter Blackwell...
