All right, college sports fans -- quarterback Trace Hawkins has committed to the Tigers for Clemson football’s 2028 recruiting class. It’s a big early win for QB coach Tajh Boyd and offensive coordinator Chad Morris as well as of course head coach Dabo Swinney. Hawkins measures up at 6-0, 180 pounds, and is a 4-star prospect out of Calhoun, Georgia. He is committed to join Clemson before the 2028 season, when current QBs Tait Reynolds and Brock Bradley will be third-year players. Longtime sports journalists Daniel Shirley and Bill Zimmerman have analysis of Hawkins’ game, his importance in the program, the impact he can have on this recruiting class for Swinney, and much more. #clemsonrecruiting #clemsonfootball #daboswinney #footballrecruiting #TraceHawkins We're glad you found us -- y'all be sure to share your reactions in the comments (keep it family-friendly for the young fans).
