All right college sports fans, wide receiver Trey Wimbley has committed to the Tigers for Clemson football’s 2027 recruiting class. It’s a big early win for WR coach Tyler Grisham and offensive coordinator Chad Morris as well as of course head coach (and one-time receiver himself) Dabo Swinney. Wimbley, who committed in December, measures up at 6-0, 175 pounds, and is a consensus 4-star prospect out of nearby Central, S.C. He is committed to join Clemson before the 2027 season, when current star receivers Bryant Wesco and T.J. Moore will become NFL Draft eligible.
